Dojo Rules and Etiquette:
- No shoes or socks on the mats.
- Remove all jewellery and watches before the session.
- If a piercing can’t be removed, it’ll need to be covered by tape or a plaster.
- Water must be drunk off the mat to avoid spills.
- Report any existing injuries to an instructor.
- If you need to go to the toilets, footwear must be wore (not barefoot).
- Practice good personal hygiene habits and keep your uniform clean.
- Keep finger and toe nails short (for health and safety reasons).
- If you are late for session, you must ask the instructor before joining in.
- You must follow the instructors’ directions at all times.
- No swearing or abusive behaviour on the mat.
- Jiu jitsu is for everyone’s benefit. No discrimination will be tolerated.
